Children's Hospital Association (CHA) submitted a statement for the record for the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing, "Legislative Proposals to Support Patients and Caregivers."

The hearing focused on crucial topics, including emergency medical services, health workforce burnout, congenital heart disease, discrimination in organ transplants, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and pediatric risk reduction through early detection screenings.

Our statement expresses strong support for several bills up for consideration, including legislation to reauthorize the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) program and the Family-to-Family Health Information Centers (F2F HICs) program.
