To effectively manage revenue and expenses in health care operations, team leaders must understand and be comfortable with financial information and the factors that impact health care economics. This course will review basic financial concepts and provide examples of practical applications in the workplace.

Upon course completion, learners should be able to describe the basic concepts and impacts of key financial measurements commonly used within institutions as they relate to for-profit and not-for-profit health care organizations.
